SUMMARY:Science Symposium - Full Day
DESCRIPTION:Rooms can be located on the floor plan. Presentations will begin at 9:00 am. Each presentation is in a 15-minute time slot with a 5 minute break between presentations. This year 65 presentations are scheduled. Once a presentation has begun\, the doors will be closed to that presentation\, and no admittance will be allowed. Presentations conclude at 11:55. \nLunch will be available from Pizza Hut or Subway\, both of which are located in Student Commons. \nThe Keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Deborah Steinberg\, who is a professor at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. Her address is titled\, “Research at the Bottom of our Planet: The Changing Antarctic Marine Ecosystem.” \nThe symposium will be held in the VCU Student Commons Building at 907 FLoyd Avenue in Richmond.
