- What is a Governor’s School?
CBGS is an academic-year Governor’s School program, which means that it offers supplemental coursework during the school year to high-ability high school students. This allows these students to delve deeper into a particular field of study, with targeted, small-group instruction.
- How do I apply to CBGS?
Students interested in applying to CBGS can obtain an application from their school counselor, or download one here. Completed applications should be mailed to the CBGS Main Office (P.O. Box 1410, Tappahannock, Virginia, 22560).
Dates for the 2024-2025 junior field studies trips are as follows:
- September 8-9 (Warsaw Make-Up Dates for Missed Sophomore-Year Trip)
- September 14-15 (Glenns)
- September 28-29 *RESCHEDULED* (Warsaw – Colonial Beach, Northumberland, and Richmond County)
- September 28-30 (Bowling Green)
