Science Symposium – Full Day

March 10, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Rooms can be located on the floor plan. Presentations will begin at 9:00 am. Each presentation is in a 15-minute time slot with a 5-minute break between presentations. This year 61 presentations are scheduled. Once a presentation has begun, the doors will be closed to that presentation and no admittance will be allowed. Presentations conclude at 11:55 am.

Lunch will be available from Chick-Fil-A, which is located in the Student Commons. Students are encouraged to bring their own lunch.

The Keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Jeremy Hoffman, who is a climate and earth scientist at the Science Museum of Virginia. His address is titled, “Growing Up in the Anthropocene.”

The symposium will be held in the VCU Student Commons Building at 907 Floyd Avenue in Richmond. Follow the link for driving directions and parking information.
