Chesapeake Bay Governor's School
Rooms can be located on the floor plan. Presentations will begin at 9:00 am. Each presentation is in a 15-minute time slot with a 5 minute break between presentations. This year 65 presentations are scheduled. Once a presentation has begun, the doors will be closed to that presentation, and no admittance will be allowed. Presentations conclude at 11:55.
Lunch will be available from Pizza Hut or Subway, both of which are located in Student Commons.
The Keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Deborah Steinberg, who is a professor at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. Her address is titled, “Research at the Bottom of our Planet: The Changing Antarctic Marine Ecosystem.”
The symposium will be held in the VCU Student Commons Building at 907 FLoyd Avenue in Richmond. Follow the link for driving directions and parking information.
