Ms. Bishop loves asking questions about how the world works. She has conducted research in physics and astronomy, volunteers in local ecological projects as a Virginia Master Naturalist, and can be heard going on tangents about random science topics in most conversations.
In teaching, she loves putting students’ hands on the science as much as possible and sees asking good questions as the basis of all learning. She taught 8th grade physical science, standard high school physics, and AP Physics I before finding her place at CGBS.
In her free time, she enjoys crafting, gardening, and kayaking with her husband.
